Like all the other Wodehouse books I've bought for my son over the years, this is not only funny in a dry way, it's a beautifully made book with original illustrations and what I believe to be the original appearance of the book from decades ago. Only in retrospect does one realize just how much of a disappointment The Dead Rivers Trilogy really is. It is also not well organized/laid out. The 4 had separated and we left them all totally hanging in the moment, so it's killing me to have to wait so long for the next book. It was interesting to see that fabrics we have today of the same name are not always the same thing as some fabrics of the 19th and early 20th centuries. we're big fans of the step into reading books, makes for quick but fun bedtime stories. I'd have to say that I have read most of Tamora Pierce’s books and have loved them all and Trickster's choice is defiantly a hit. OMG 564 pages was soooo not enough.
