Wonderfully rich in military detail, Meade's Army offers a wealth of information from one of the war's most perceptive chroniclers. When I finshed reading the first book, I just hoped that it would continue. I read the book to help my daughter with the Battle of the Books competition, but was surprised to find a very well written short story. Yet many grind on, largely in academia or letters, as White, whose ultimate parsed truth kills him, and meantime humanity flourishes on without him (them). Beautifully illustrated, this comic graphic novel is a classic you will enjoy and treasure.
